Could Be Halloween
Yowling,
prowling, growling cat
Why do you switch your tail like that?
Why do your eyes flash gold and green?
Could be--must be--Halloween!
Why do you switch your tail like that?
Why do your eyes flash gold and green?
Could be--must be--Halloween!
Slinky, inky,
blinky cat,
Why do you arch your back like that?
What scary creatures have you seen?
Could be--must be- Halloween!
Why do you arch your back like that?
What scary creatures have you seen?
Could be--must be- Halloween!
The Goblin
There's a
goblin as green
as a goblin can be.
Who is sitting outside
and is waiting for me.
When he knocked on my door
and said softly, "Come play!"
I answered,"No thank you,
now please,go away!"
But the goblin as green
as a goblin can be.
Is still sitting outside
and is waiting for me.
as a goblin can be.
Who is sitting outside
and is waiting for me.
When he knocked on my door
and said softly, "Come play!"
I answered,"No thank you,
now please,go away!"
But the goblin as green
as a goblin can be.
Is still sitting outside
and is waiting for me.
Trick or Treat
Trick or
Treat! Trick or Treat!
Give me something good to eat.
Give me candy. Give me cake.
Give me something good to take.
Give me something good to eat.
Give me candy. Give me cake.
Give me something good to take.
Halloween Symbols – What do They Mean?
We associate Halloween with different symbols
such as skulls, witches and bats. What do these symbols mean and why are they
so popular during the Halloween season? Read on to find out.
Bat
Bats are nocturnal creatures that are typically associated with Halloween. In the movies, we also see some bats transform into vampires. Of course, this doesn’t happen in real life. However, there is a type of bat known as the vampire bat, which is the only mamal known to feed on blood. According to superstitous beliefs, death is on its way when a bat circles a house 3 times.

Jack-O-Lantern
The Jack-O-Lantern is another common symbol we see during Halloween. Pumpkin carving has been a tradition for many years. The vibrant orange symbolizes life and positive change. The Jack-O-Lantern got its name from an Irish legend. A drunk man named Jack always played tricks on everyone. On one instance, he played a trick on the devil and the devil placed a curse on him. When Jack died, he was not allowed to enter heaven because he was a mean person. He wasn’t able to enter hell, too since the devil wouldn’t let him. The devil game him a burning ember, which he then placed inside a hollow turnip. From then on, he was known as Jack-O-Lantern.

Witch
From way back, witches have always been known as supernatural beings. This is the perfect symbol for Halloween since unseen energies are said to be the strongest during this season. Witches are also called when there are messages from unseen forces that need to be interpreted.

Skull
The skull serves as a reminder that life is not eternal, and after death, we shall all return back to the earth. It also symbolizes death and danger.

When is Halloween 2017?
Halloween falls every
year on October 31, which is a Tuesday this year - that's tomorrow!
It is held the day
before All Saints’ Day, which is a Christian festival used to celebrate
recognised saints.
Halloween activities
typically involve trick or treating and dressing up in fancy dress.
Why is the date of Halloween significant?
The word Halloween
comes from Hallowe’en, meaning “hallowed evening” or holy evening.
It is widely thought
that Halloween traditions came from Celtic harvest festivals of Samhain,
although some people support the view that Halloween began independently as a
Christian festival.
Samhain was a
celebration of the end of the harvest season, and means "summer’s
end."
People at this time
thought the walls between worlds were thin and spirits could pass through into
our realm, and it was feared they may damage crops for the next season.
To appease any
spirits, gaels would set up places at their dinner tables for the spirits
and light bonfires to scare off evil spirits.
How can you celebrate Halloween?
There are a number of
ways to celebrate the festival, whether you want to go out or enjoy it from the
comfort of your home.
These include:
·
playing apple bobbing
·
carving pumpkins
·
playing pranks
·
dressing up in fancy dress at a costume
party
·
going trick or treating
·
watching horror films
·
telling scary stories
·
visiting "haunted" attractions
·
some Christians attend church services

TEACHER'S DAY
Teachers' Day is
a special day for the appreciation of teachers,
and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a
particular field area, or the community in general.
The idea of celebrating Teachers' Day took root in many countries during
the 19th century; in most cases, they celebrate a local educator or an
important milestone in education (for example, Argentina has commemorated Domingo Faustino Sarmiento's death on 11
September since 1915, while India traditionally celebrates Guru Purnima,
an Indian and Nepalese festival
dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers which is celebrated on the full moon day
(Purnima)
in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July)
as it is known in the Hindu
calendar of India and Nepal. The birthday
of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5
September) is also celebrated as Teacher's Day in India since 1962. This
is the primary reason why countries celebrate this day on different dates,
unlike many other International Days.
A Teacher Is..
Someone who is wise...
Who cares about the students and wears no
disguise.
But is honest and open and shares from the
heart.
Not just lessons from books, but life where you
are.
A teacher takes time to help and tutor.
With English or Math or on a Computer.
It's who's patient, even in stress.
Who never gives less than the very best!

Importance Of English
1. •For us students, studying English could be a big help in
many ways. It benefits our lives by improving our knowledge to a large extent,
helping us to improve our grammar and to be more confident in communication.
2. In studying English, it is more useful in boosting one’s
vocabulary and using it in a precise way and writing skills. The more they
study, the more valuable information they pick up, then they are able to have a
solid core of knowledge.
3. One example of learning English is reading books, it is
one way of relaxing your mind from one very tiring day, and it is also very
convenient.
4. When you get interested in reading, you could avoid
addicting online games or violent films which is not good for the development
of each individual especially for teenagers.
5. It enables you to be sure of what you are going to say
because you have just the right information with you.
6. Learning English is also important in business matters,
it is the primary language of business throughout the world. Most international
business transactions, including emails, memos, reports, and contracts are
written in English.
7. The ability to fluently speak the English language in
addition to your native language can be beneficial if you're seeking job
opportunities with international companies.
8. •Even in computers, English is important because… most
software programs are written in English.
9. TRIVIA: Researchers showed that teens that have reading
habits can get better academic records than those who do not. So, parents and
schools should give their children more opportunity to access more books, so
that they are able to enhance their learning and knowledge.
10. COMMUNICATION Communication is the act of using
language in order to convey a message, from one person to another, in an
attempt to understand its meaning. Is the way of sending information between
places, using computer telephones radios, etc.
11. TEACHING It’s a system and method of giving
instructions but also guiding the student with the tools that one as a teacher
believes are necessary for the learner/student.
12. LEARNING It’s the processes of getting a knowledge or
skills analyzing, understanding and practicing any given information or task.
13. ALL COMES TOGETHER teaching learning language
communication Now days English is not just for the people whom can afforted
but it´s become commodity for everyone, for international communication,
bussines, education, media, technology, pop culture, tourism, etc.
